Establishing an International Culture of Responsibility in the Life Sciences

The project sought to establish an international consensus on the responsible conduct of life scientists, based on the model used to encourage the responsible conduct of scientists working in the nuclear industry.

In addition, the project aimed to encourage institutional assessments of how this approach might be used to improve biosafety, biosecurity and ethical practices.
