Biotechnology Engagement Program (BTEP): Chlamydia Trachomatis

This program supports scientific redirection through the engagement of Commonwealth of Independent States’ (CIS) former biological weapons scientists in public health-related research working in collaboration with American scientists. This program focused on the development of a rapid test for clinical laboratory diagnostic of Chlamydia trachomatis, the causative agent of the urogenital chlamydiosis.
