Building Arms Control Capacities in the MENA Region

This project consists of a series of executive education courses aimed at building professional capacities in the new generation of government officials dealing with arms control, non-proliferation, and disarmament in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. The aim of this project is to build the capacity of a new generation of practitioners in arms control and to promote cooperative, multilateral, rule-of-law-based security approaches. The courses have a particular focus on the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) Review Conference and the Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD)-Free Zone in the Middle East.
