Building International Capacity to Implement United Nations Security Council Resolution Sanctions on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)

This project supports the U.S. State Department’s Office for Cooperative Threat Reduction (CTR) to undertake capacity- building activities in partner countries. Project activities include: (1) assisting in the full implementation of UN Security Council Resolutions that addresses North Korea’s proliferation threat; (2) strengthening efforts to implement proliferation financing measures to prevent North Korea from financing their weapons of mass destruction programs; and (3) strengthening efforts to prevent North Korea from financing their weapons of mass destruction programs through criminal networks.
