Chemical and Biological Weapons Threat Reduction Worldwide

Development and implementation of stand-alone Chemical and Biological Weapons (CBW) terrorism prevention training modules for law enforcement, military, prosecutors, and other critical stakeholders which can be integrated into existing Counter-Terrorism training efforts supported by other United States Government threat reduction programs. Designed to fill critical gaps in international prevention efforts, preparedness, and response to the threats posed by non-state actor acquisition and use of rudimentary chemical and biological materials to launch mass casualty attacks. Includes the involvement of maritime security partners and port operators to prevent the stockpiling of explosives precursor chemicals and illicit diversion/proliferation activities.
