Confidence Building Measures (CBMs) under the Biological Weapons Convention (BWC)

The project aims to support states that are party to the BWC in their efforts towards: (i) developing and adopting national legislation to provide for the implementation of the BWC and related matters, including biosafety and biosecurity; and (ii) participating in confidence-building measures and submitting the respective reports to the BWC ISU.

The project also aims to raise awareness and build capacity on BWC implementation and related matters at the regional and national levels.
