Cooperative Biological Engagement Program (CBEP) – Afghanistan Professional Network Building, Training and Exposure (NBTE) Program

The Afghanistan Professional Network Building, Training and Exposure (NBTE) Program provides opportunities for bioscientists to participate in international conferences and visit international research institutions to: 1) connect Afghani scientists with professional contacts to increase potential research collaboration and partnership opportunities; and 2) expose researchers to the latest research topics and techniques to improve biosafety, biosecurity and public and animal health policies in Afghanistan. A key part of this program is researchers receiving training on critical skills related to creating and submitting an abstract and presenting research at a scientific conference.
