Domestic Nuclear Detection Office (DNDO)

This office supports bilateral and multilateral engagement efforts to work with partner countries to enhance their capacity to develop nuclear detection architectures. The Domestic Nuclear Detection Office is able to provide guidelines and workshop development support for enhancing the global capacity to detect the illicit trafficking of nuclear and other radioactive materials out of regulatory control. The Office conducts technical exchanges with foreign partner nations to enhance efforts to develop concepts for implementation of national-level nuclear and radiological detection architectures. This includes exchanges on technical nuclear forensics and joint testing/characterization of radiological and nuclear detection systems.
