East Asia Summit (EAS) Seminar on Non-Proliferation in the Indo-Pacific

This seminar aimed to deepen cooperation among East Asian countries by increasing understanding of the strategic issues relating to non-proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, and the practical tools that can be honed and applied to detect, disrupt and deny proliferation in the region. Topics at this seminar included nuclear security and safeguards, strategic export controls, countering proliferation financing and implementing UN Security Council sanctions.
