Ebola Response and Biosecurity in Sierra Leone

This project has been locating, assessing, prioritizing, and then destroying or consolidating all Ebola samples resulting from the Ebola outbreak in 2014 and 2015. Project activities have included: researching and collating data from priority laboratories, conducting biosecurity training, consolidating samples, and upgrading security measures at three laboratories. This project is finishing the construction of a new ‘Biobank’.
