Enhanced Biological Security and Disease Surveillance in the Caribbean

This project has included the provision of a fully-equipped modular biosafety level three (BSL3) laboratory to the Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) in Trinidad and Tobago to strengthen biosafety and biosecurity capabilities in the Caribbean. In addition, this project is currently providing ongoing maintenance and operational support to Caribbean Public Health Agency (CARPHA) to ensure the new facility achieves its objective of strengthening biological security and disease diagnostics capacity in the Caribbean region.
