Enhancing Diagnostic Capacity of Veterinary Laboratories in Africa

This project implemented Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) in the Central Veterinary Laboratory of some African countries. In order to strengthen biological security, a new module for sample banking has been developed (mainly focused on samples like Marburg, MERS CoV, Rabies, Anthrax, Brucellosis, Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza). Using this module, the users in the lab managed the samples storage location and the type and the quantity of biological material stored.
