Enhancing Regional Capacity in Big Data Analytics and Visualization – Phase III

This project is assisting ASEAN member states to receive early and rapid awareness of high consequence biological threats through real-time surveillance. The initiative supports:

  1. The generation of rapid risk assessments by using big data analytics;
  2. The conduct of effective evaluations of interventions; and
  3. Strengthening timely risk communication and response capabilities, both prior to and during infectious disease emergencies.

This initiative has proven highly impactful during the COVID-19 pandemic, and regular risk analyses produced for the ASEAN region are posted on a dedicated ASEAN website.
