Enhancing UNSCR 1540 Capabilities in the Black Sea Region Under the Framework of the UNODC-WCO Container Control Programme (CCP)

This project supports the implementation of Container Control Programme (CCP) Strategic Trade and Export Control (STEC) training in the Black Sea Region. It aims to enhance the capacity of frontline customs and law enforcement officers to identify and interdict high-risk consignments (while facilitating legitimate trade) and combats the proliferation of chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) weapons and related dual-use strategic materials.

Project activities include needs assessments, courses on detection and interdiction, and regional information exchanges to support the development of best practices.
