Expansion of Programme Global Shield

WCO will analyze the sources and destinations of chemical trade in 13 common chemical explosives precursors and metals on a global basis to establish a baseline of legitimate trade. The results of this analysis, in combination with strategic input from international partners (sponsors and organizations such as INTERPOL), will inform the development of best practices as well as priority locations for further in-country outreach and training by WCO instructors, field operational exercises with Customs administrations, and the provision of CW threat reduction/detection equipment.
