Fostering Biosecurity Networks in the Global South

This project aims to provide capacity-development opportunities for young policymakers, scientists and academics from the Global South engaged in fields related to the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC). Two seminars will be organised in Geneva to bring together youth from the Global South to expose them to the concept of multilateral disarmament negotiations and enabling their engagement with diplomats and high-level experts in the field. Particular emphasis will be placed on encouraging the participation of young women from the Global South.
