Global Enterprise and IPNDV: Engaging Developing Countries in Non-Proliferation and Verification

This agreement covers support to Global Enterprise and International Partnership on Nuclear Disarmament Verification (IPNDV), in order to strengthen engagement from developing nations. Both projects share goals of fostering inclusivity and diversity, supporting capacity building, and supporting developing countries to become stakeholders in the global non-proliferation and disarmament verification regimes. Global Enterprise carries out the following activities: increasing participation of developing countries in the project; convening a series of regional meetings in Latin America, Africa and Asia Pacific focused on implementation of Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) goals; and supporting the annual Arab Nuclear Forum in Amman. IPNDV carries out the following activities: increasing participation of officials and experts from the developing world in the project; developing non-English dependent content; and expanding the outreach event in Geneva.
