Global Partnership Biosecurity Signature Initiative

The purpose of this project is to enhance BWC membership and implementation in the African region by supporting staffing and personnel costs for the ISU to:

  1. Promote universalization of the BWC in Africa;
  2. Provide assistance for the development of BWC implementing legislation;
  3. Support the preparation and submission of Confidence-Building Measures (CBMs); and
  4. Facilitate the establishment or designation of National Contact Points (NCPs).
