Harvard-Sussex Information Base (SHIB)

Comprises an extensive collection of letters, memoranda, notes of conversations, manuscripts, interviews, internal U.S. government documents, visual materials and other documentary materials concerning chemical and biological weapons (CBW). The documents are being scanned and posted and will be annotated to indicate relevance and their relation to other documents in the collection. The website will be searchable by topic, by name, and by various other categories, making it far more accessible than the hard copy materials on which it will be based. So far, we have scanned several thousand items, a small percentage of the items in the archive, and have completed the basic design of the website having incorporated scans of several hundred of the digitized documents and photographs.
