Highly-Enriched Uranium Purchase Agreement

This agreement between the United States and Russia allowed for the United States to purchase from Russia 500 metric tons of highly-enriched uranium derived from nuclear weapons to down-blended it to commercial-grade, low-enriched uranium over 20 years.
