Improve the operation and sustainability of the Auxiliary Seismic Stations (ASS) Network of the CTBT’s International Monitoring System (IMS)

The main scope of this project was to assist local authorities to improve the operation and sustainability of the Auxiliary Seismic Stations (ASS) Network of the International Monitoring System (IMS). Project activities included: conducting an assessment of the current status of the ASS, station visits to conduct system calibrations, onsite training for local station operators, infrastructure and security upgrades, and replacement of power systems and obsolete equipment.
