International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Technical Cooperation Programme

The EPA has provided assistance to a number of States for upgrading their radiation protection infrastructures (including radioactive source control and emergency preparedness). Ireland contributes to the programmes of the IAEA by providing experts to undertake reviews of national arrangements, develop advisory literature, run training courses and provide guidance on radiation protection and emergency preparedness/response matters.
