International Training Course on the State Systems of Accounting for and Control of Nuclear Material

This training course was for those who engage in the implementation of safeguards as regulatory authorities or facility operators in target countries in order to support international safeguards activities conducted by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) by making use of Japan’s activities and experiences in nuclear non-proliferation. This course sought to facilitate basic understanding of a nuclear non-proliferation regime and provide practical knowledge and skills necessary for the conduct of safeguards in the operation of the State Systems of Accounting for and Control of Nuclear Material in Asian countries.
