Nonproliferation and Arms Control – Nonproliferation Policy

Through this project the United States National Nuclear Security Administration:

  1. Develops policies, programs, and strategies to reduce nuclear dangers;
  2. Addresses emerging challenges and opportunities in nonproliferation and arms control; and
  3. Supports the implementation of bilateral, multilateral, President-directed, or congressionally mandated nonproliferation and international security initiatives, agreements, and treaties.
