Northwest Russia – Nuclear Legacy Projects

These projects were designed to:

  1. Support safe and secure spent nuclear fuel (SNF) retrieval at Andreeva bay, Murmansk;
  2. Created an interim storage facility for SNF from the Icebreaker Support Vessel “Lotta” at Atomflot, Murmansk;
  3. Dismantle a nuclear powered submarine at Zvedochka, SRY; and
  4. Dismantle 3 nuclear powered submarines at Nerpa Shipyard, Murmansk.
