Nuclear Detection Strategy in Morocco

The project strengthened Morocco’s capacity to detect and deter unauthorized transfers of nuclear and other radioactive material across its international boundaries. The development of an effective and sustainable national nuclear detection architecture is a critical part of Morocco’s efforts to deter, detect, and interdict nuclear and radioactive material that is out of regulatory control, and ultimately, to prevent acts of nuclear terrorism.
