A study and global outreach project that created: a comprehensive database on laws and regulations of UN Members States that addressed security of radioactive sources, which included measures that criminalized illicit behavior, and a database of laws and regulations related to controlling imports and exports of radioactive sources. Both databases included measures that criminalized illicit behavior. This project also developed actionable recommendations that advanced source security and identified partners for a global network that worked on nuclear security law.
