Port Management Training for Coastal Authorities

Experts of the Argentine Naval Prefecture developed a series of trainings for the Kenyan Maritime Police Unit (MPU) on port management for coastal authorities. Work was focused on international port legislation and technology use by maritime police when rescuing vessels. Topics addressed during the trainings included: sea crime prevention measures, international port regulations, technological equipment for the maritime police, radarization, vessels monitoring systems, and operational and ship-rescue aspects.
