Project 66: Combating Falsified Medicines in Eastern and Central Africa (MEDISAFE)

This regional project seeks to support the fight against the production and trafficking of falsified medicines and medicinal products. Outcomes of this project will include:

  • Enhancing capacities of partner countries to identify falsified medicines and medicinal products and combatting their production and trafficking in Eastern and Central African regions; and
  • Enhancing regional cooperation in terms of harmonization of policies, networking, and joint operations to fight production and trafficking of falsified medicines and medicinal products.
