Regional Biosecurity Training Centre in Jordan

This project supported the development of a new BioRisk Management and Genomics Training Center at the Princess Haya Biotechnology Center at the Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST). This project established a regional center of excellence to enhance the capacity for biological risk management and technological capabilitiesof laboratories in order to combat infectious diseases and at the same time promote a sustainable culture of laboratory safety and security through the education and training of staff from different sectors of the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
