Regional Sahel Pastoralism Support Project (PRAPS)

This project is working to improve access to essential productive assets, services, and markets for pastoralists and agro-pastoralists in selected trans-border areas and along trans-humance axes across six Sahel countries, and strengthens country capacities to respond promptly and effectively to pastoral crises or emergencies. Project activities include:

  • Upgrading infrastructure and strengthening national veterinary services’ capacities, and
  • Supporting the surveillance and control of priority animal diseases and veterinary medicines.
