Reporting Assistance, 1540 Committee Support, and National Action Plan Support

This assistance activity organised workshops to assist the G5 Member States in preparing their initial reports pursuant to UNSCR 1540 on the non-proliferation of WMD to non-state actors. The Centre supported the 1540 Committee in its visits to Malawi, Senegal and Togo. In addition, UNREC assisted Malawi and Zambia in the preparation of their 1540 National Action Plans (NAPs).
