Reporting on the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BWC)

Ireland supports reporting work on the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BWC) carried out by Richard Guthrie of the Bioweapons Prevention Project (BPP). Mr Guthrie has been providing daily reporting on BWC disarmament discussions to both civil society and States Parties since 2006. These reports are factual and concise and provide useful summaries on the progress of discussions, outcomes and implications of discussions and decisions at the BWC. These reports are widely referenced and circulated and are of particular benefit to smaller delegations and those who lack the operational and technical capacity to attend all of the discussions.
