Responsible Care® Training & Interaction

Chemical and Allied Industries’ Association (CAIA, South Africa) works to uplift and professionalise Responsible Care® through:

  1. Teacher outreach to create awareness amongst teachers of appropriate safety practices while conducting chemistry experiments in the classroom and to inform them of the global chemical industry’s Responsible Care® initiative;
  2. Safety and Quality Assessment for Sustainability-AFRICA (SQAS-AFRICA) Auditor Training and Accreditation;
  3. Responsible Care® In Action Training;
  4. Responsible Care® Process Safety Training; and
  5. Process Safety for Frontline Officers course for frontline workers in chemical plants such as operators, artisans and technicians.
