Strengthening Health and Biosecurity in Tanzania by Biodetection Capacity Building – Phase I
This programme is strengthening laboratory capacity in and raising awareness in biosecurity and biosafety in Tanzania by: conducting trainings in diagnosing infectious diseases like Ebola, Anthrax, Influenza A, and Rift Valley Fever; and providing laboratory equipment for analysing pathogens. The project concentrates on zoonoses, which are diseases that can be naturally transmitted from animals to humans.
