Advancing Women’s Leadership in Chemical Security in Iraq

In response to serious threats posed by terrorist use of chemical weapons in and around Iraq, Canada is supporting CRDF Global to advance leadership skills for Iraqi women through professional development courses, mentoring and regional fellowships. This project promotes an inclusive culture of chemical security in Iraq by providing qualified Iraqi women (from technical, research, policy, or educational backgrounds) with the requisite knowledge, skills, resources, and connections to participate in chemical security initiatives and contribute to non-proliferation policy-making.
