The United Kingdom has worked closely with the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons Technical Secretariat for many years to build capacity to respond to non-routine contingency operations including investigations of alleged use of chemical weapons, technical assistance visits and Rapid Response and Assistance Mission (RRAM) co-ordination of assistance and protection.
