UNODC-WCO Container Control Programme (CCP) – Middle East and North Africa

This project established port control units (PCUs) and air cargo control units (ACCUs) at the Por of Aqaba and Queen Alia International Airport in Jorda, Port of Sohar in Oman, and Port of Radès in Tunisia. This project also supported customs’ risk analysis units in the Ports of Agadir, Casablanca, and Tanger-Med in Morocco. Law enforcement personnel also received training and equipment to systematically target high-risk containers whilst facilitating the free flow of legitimate trade.
