World Health Organization (WHO) Grant

Through the World Health Organization (WHO) Grant, US Agency for International Development (USAID) provides support to global WHO entities such as Global Outbreak Alert & Response Network (GOARN), Global Influenza Surveillance Network (GISN), UN System Influenza Coordination (UNSIC) and WHO/AFRO, as well as to country-level WHO programs in Vietnam and Indonesia. USAID support goes to aiding in the preparedness, prevention, and response to emerging pandemic threats, such as H5N1.
