World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) Veterinary Legislation Support Programme in Americas

Canada supported World Organisation for Animal Health’s efforts to integrate considerations pertaining to biological threat reduction into Veterinary Legislation Support Programme (VLSP) veterinary legislation identification missions, and to raise awareness and facilitate expanded communication between relevant agencies involved in biological threat reduction. This project strengthened regional health security and improved the preparedness of nations for biological threat reduction by enhancing the veterinary legislative basis in countries of the Americas.
