One Health – Global Perspectives on Health and Security

This project provided targeted support to a Special Plenary Session on “Global Perspectives on Health and Security: the Future of Biological Threat Reduction”. This special plenary session was the first One Health Congress that emphasized biological threat reduction to strengthen links between the health and the security community and to advance scientific knowledge concerning the emergence and spread of potentially harmful zoonotic diseases and biological toxins, with special attention to dual-use research of concern.
