Preparedness of States Parties to Prevent and Respond to Attacks Involving Chemicals III

This project contributed to the development of national capacities of States Parties to reduce the risks of a terrorist attack with chemicals and to improve their response to requests for assistance in case of use or threat of use of chemicals.

Project activities included: a full cycle training package for Central Asian State Parties with Basic and Advanced training courses in assistance and protection; a regional coordination exercise on assistance deliver in Latin America; regional assistance and protection workshops; and table top exercises to examine cross-government decision-making and promote information exchange and provision of assistance between national and international organisations.
