Strengthening WHO Capacity to Respond to Deliberate Use of Chemical and Biological Weapons

This project supports the World Health Organisation (WHO) Health Emergencies Programme to further strengthen its capacity to respond to the deliberate use of chemical and biological weapons through the Health Security Interface (HSI) Secretariat.

Project activities include:

  • The development of a multidisciplinary “deliberate event readiness and response team” that will be empowered, trained and equipped to deploy in response to chemical or biological weapons use anywhere in the world.
